Risk Warning

Please read this before using Quotex or acting on anything published on this site. Trading digital / fixed-time options is high risk and is not suitable for everyone.

You can lose all of your money

Digital / fixed-time options are all-or-nothing per trade: a correct prediction pays a fixed amount below 100% of your stake, while a wrong one loses the entire stake. Because of that structure, the product is negative-expectancy for most people, and you can lose your whole deposit — quickly.

Most retail accounts lose money

Across this category of product, the majority of retail traders lose money over time. Treat any expectation of profit with extreme caution, and never trade with funds you cannot afford to lose entirely.

This is not investment advice

Everything on this site is general information for educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and it does not take your personal circumstances into account. Make your own decisions and, where appropriate, seek independent professional advice.

Limited regulatory protection

  • Quotex operates through an offshore setup and is overseen only by the IFMRRC, a self-regulatory body — not a tier-1 regulator such as the FCA, ASIC or CySEC.
  • That means limited protection, no tier-1 compensation scheme, and limited recourse if a dispute arises.
  • Consider this counterparty risk on top of the risk of the product itself.

Availability and legality vary

Quotex is not available everywhere — for example it is restricted in the USA and parts of the EU, and the list can change. It is your responsibility to check whether using it is legal and permitted where you live.

Watch out for scams

Ignore anyone promising guaranteed profits, 'signals' with fixed accuracy, or an 'account manager' who will trade for you. These are common scams that impersonate brokers. Only ever use the official Quotex site and app.

Trade responsibly

Only risk money you can afford to lose, use the free demo to learn first, keep stakes small, and stop if trading stops being something you can comfortably afford. If it ever feels compulsive, seek support.
